L’Oreal Says They Didn’t Change Beyonce’s Skin Tone

L’Oreal has been under fire lately due to accusations that they Photoshopped Beyonce’s skin color in a recent advertisement to make her seem lighter.

A representative from their company has responded with, “Beyoncé Knowles has been a spokesperson for the L’Oréal Paris brand since 2001. We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L’Oréal Paris altered Ms. Knowles’ features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria’s hair color.”

That makes sense to me.  Beyonce is someone that attracts people from every race so I don’t see the need for them to make her lighter to attract them white folks.  If anything, it’s probably a make-up thing that made her seem lighter and not them actually intentionally Photoshopping her.
