Weekend Wrap-up :: It’s a gangsta’s paradise

• A few weeks after Rihanna and Chris Brown had their little situation going on (beating), the two are back together again says a source. “They’re together again. They care for each other.” The two are reportdedly spending time together on Miami Beach’s Star Island at one of Sean “Diddy” Comb’s homes.
• Speaking of Diddy… On Friday night, he twittered that he was going to attempt a 36 hours “tantric sex session.”  How that turned out.. who knows. Who’s it with? Probably Cassie. Just kidding though about the Cassie part.

• Do ya’ll remember Coolio? Gangsta’s Paradise? Well, he was performing at Saffordshire University on Wednesday and decided he was going to do a stage dive. His audience quickly moved out of the way and he landed on the floor instead.  But that’s not all! The people in the crowd mobbed him, snatching his jewelry, bandana, and shoes. “They grabbed whatever they could, including his trainers, watch, chains and glasses. He was pulled back on stage by the bouncers. They got his shoes back for him.”
• Lil Wayne’s rock album entitled The Rebirth is about to be shelved.  The executives over at Universal are apparently cautious of the album since the first single Prom Queen isn’t doing all that well on the charts. “If Wayne doesn’t brighten up, they have to turn into Mr. Evil Record Company and just tell him it’s never going to be released.”

Weekend Wrap-up :: It’s been a slow news week

• Rihanna released this statement after the bruised-up photos of her surfaced the web: “At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”
• Kanye West will be featured in VH1’s upcoming special Storytellers in which viewers and fans will be able to watch footage of his performances. The show will be airing on February 28th at 9/8c.
• Jennifer Lopez is NOT getting a divorce despite the rumors. “Every time I’m not wearing my ring, people think I’m getting divorced. Divorce is not, and was never, an option.”
• Paper Planes singer M.I.A. gave birth to a baby boy last Wednesday. “To fans friends on family. My baby is here — happy valentines!” View her blog post here.
• Diddy’s next album will be called Last Train to Paris. “It’s deeper than any of the other stuff I have ever made,” Diddy said. “Last Train to Paris comes out in September…T-Pain gave me permission to use the vocoder, the Auto-Tune, and he showed me various tricks that nobody knows but him and myself.”
